nullEvelyn Plaschg: Hello how are you?; variable dimensions; acrylic binder, gravel
Samuel Bich: Raumplan
Jakob Rockenschaub: 13 Al 58/2; variable dimensions; aluminium tubes, metal

Four dark gray wall sculptures are a collaboration between Samuel Bich, Evelyn Plaschg and Jakob Rockenschaub. Just landed on the studio floor, they establish a bodily interaction within seconds. Floating within the exhibition space, they are simultaneously pointing away from it: Landscapes of architectural forms, desert rocks and other gravel...
Evelyn Plaschg inscribed her work directly onto the surfaces of the sculptures: stains and dirty spots every now and then. Samuel Bich moved the walls every day. As part of his „micro movements“, he designed a floor plan that he reprinted and hung them onto the sculptures – one sheet every day. Jakob Rockenschaub attatched retainers to the walls holding 2,8m aluminium tubes.

.. And nature holds me now

My own hands can no longer even touch me for
they are his now
I'm a voice and nothing else...

Cursed by Juno only to speak when repeating the words of others
When he calls out she answers with repetition
N rejects E’s affection too
Hides moaning and wasting, bones and voice remains, morphs into rock
Her imitative voice lives in caves
Silent glade, lies down, reflection in the water.
Futile desire to own what he's already got

Architectons
Architecture is aimed to serve people and is a very good example of visual psychology. I have been collecting different sketches of existing buildings with something imperfect and disturbing in them for quite a while and then I started constructing this situations but dismissing the concept of physical presence of human in there. My target was to purify the form to the idea , throwing away everything what is utilitarian. I had my own experience with architecture and stage design and the human had always remained as measuring standard, actually it was designed for human. In my installative practice I decided to drift away from this idea and to create the objects in the name of form. The objects have no colour in themselves, they are aimed to create some microcosm with changed state of reference from our usual one. They might look like empty stages waiting to be filled but the comfort and possibility of staying there is an illusion, isn’t the purity of archetype enough? It is tridimensional search of the perfect form. Self-sufficing sculptures carry the potential of further development in the space. This installation can be seen as a homage to Malevich and his principles, which influence the art till the present day.
